Preparations

Shawn and I went to the store this weekend to buy some (not all) of the booze for my mom's 60th Birthday. There were some great deals on Sunday so we took advantage (as you can see from the pics below). We had to have 2 carts to carry it all. There were lots of shocked looks and comments about our loot. And as timing would have it, when we were leaving, a customer of Shawn's was coming into the store. He said, 'you having a party?' I said no, 'we are just thirsty.' :)

It's a bird, it's a plane . . . .

We went to Grand Caymen last week for a 5 day vacation and I have to say, it was pretty wonderful. My friend Brian is a pilot so we were fortunate enough to go on a private plane that he flew. It really is the way to fly. I wish I owned a plane . . . and I wish I was a pilot. :) Anyways, here is a video we shot before getting on the plane. It is a little hard to hear, but I think you will get the point. Turns out, the bird did come out during flight. Jumped around the plane awhile (scared crapless), was probably asking himself (what have I done?). Let's just say the bird problem was taken care of. We have now named one of our friends Sean Murphy, the BK.
